Glassel Gig is the Northeast's largest charitable 12 hour open-air music festival featuring music varying from high-energy rock,pop,indie & bratbeat rock 'n'roll through to cajun,bluegrass &ceilidh style rock.
Last year, this rockin' event saw 2000 people attending throughout the day and it is expected that the ticket sales this year will top 3000!! so get your tickets early as you will not be able to buy on the day!
Bands who are to perform, will be able to take advantage of a rare opportunity of playing through a powerful 15K quality sound system providing an intriguing and electric atmosphere. The Glassel Gig is now into its fourth consecutive year, and has donated over £31,000 to local charities and causes within the Deeside area.
The Gates will open on the 25th August at 12 noon and a festival of music will be provided throughout the day until 1 a.m with a fireworks finale . For anyone who enjoys live music, a ticket to the gig is an absolute must!
There will be a large beer tent, barbecue and entertainment for kids creating an informal carnival atmosphere.
